Why dry ice

Clean without the mess.

We shoot dry ice pellets at the surface with compressed air. They knock the dirt loose, then turn into gas. No sand, no soap, no rinse water.

Non-abrasive

Cleans without grinding away the surface underneath.

No water

Nothing to soak into parts, wiring, or seams.

No chemical residue

The pellets turn to gas, so no blasting media is left behind.

Cleans in place

Many jobs need little or no taking apart.

Where dry ice works

Built for demanding jobs.

Dry ice blasting is used across many industries. Pick yours to see how it helps.

Manufacturing: example of dry ice cleaning

Manufacturing

Production lines collect grease, oil, and residue. Dry ice cleans it off in place, often without a full teardown.

  • Machinery and conveyors
  • Guards and housings
  • Baked-on grease and oil
Automotive: example of dry ice cleaning

Automotive

Engine bays, frames, and wheel wells collect buildup that water and brushes leave behind. Dry ice reaches into the corners.

  • Engine bays
  • Undercarriages and frames
  • Suspension and wheel wells
Tesla and electric cars: example of dry ice cleaning

Tesla and electric cars

Electric cars have no engine to wash, but the front trunk bay and the underbody still collect dust, leaves, and road grime. Dry ice is dry, so no water goes into connectors.

  • Front trunk bay
  • Underbody and battery cover
  • A yearly EV clean

Injection molding and plastics: example of dry ice cleaning

Injection molding and plastics

Molds and tooling pick up residue that slows the line. Dry ice is non-abrasive, so it lifts buildup without grinding the tool.

  • Mold cavities and vents
  • Tooling and dies
  • Release agent buildup
Electrical and power: example of dry ice cleaning

Electrical and power

Dry cleaning means no water near electrical equipment. Equipment must be shut down first, and we plan each job with your team.

  • Motors and generators
  • Mechanical equipment
  • Dust and grime buildup

Straight answers

What people ask first.

What is dry ice blasting?

We shoot small pellets of dry ice (frozen CO2) at the surface with compressed air. The pellets knock dirt, grease, and buildup loose, then turn into gas. What is left is the clean surface and the dirt that came off it.

Will it damage my equipment or my car?

Dry ice is non-abrasive, so it cleans without sanding or scratching the way sand or soda blasting can. We look at the surface first and set the machine to fit the job.

Is there water, chemicals, or a big mess?

No water and no chemicals are used, and the pellets turn to gas, so there is no wet residue from the blasting media. The dirt that comes off the surface still needs to be swept or vacuumed up, and we plan for that.

What can you clean?

Industrial machinery and production equipment, and cars, including engine bays, undercarriages, wheel wells, and frames. Not sure if your job fits? Send us a photo and we will tell you.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the size of the job, the surface, and how much buildup there is. Send us photos or call, and we will give you a quote.

Where do you work?

We are based in San Diego and serve the San Diego area. Call or send us your city and we will let you know.

Can I send photos to get a quote?

Yes. Use the quote form on this page or message us on WhatsApp. Photos help us understand the job before we talk.
